New Port Richey is not just where I live.
It is where my family shows up, serves, creates, and builds community together.

My family has been in New Port Richey for nearly fifty years. In 2020, my husband and I, both Florida Gators, made the deliberate choice to move back and raise our youngest children here. The pandemic clarified what mattered: being near family, investing in community, and putting down roots where we could show up and serve.

I am running for mayor because I believe local government should work with residents, not around them. Decisions should be clear. Participation should be real. And every neighbor should feel like they belong in the future we are building.

A life rooted in community

My work in New Port Richey has always centered on connection.

I serve on the Board of Directors at Richey Suncoast Theatre, where I lead community engagement, teach improv, and help grow programs that bring joy to people of all ages. Our theatre is not just a stage. It is a gathering place, a classroom, and a cultural touchstone for the city.

I have also worked alongside our public library and local partners to expand access to learning, technology, and civic participation. These spaces matter because they give residents the tools to shape their own future.

Everything I do locally comes back to a simple belief:

Strong communities are built through participation, creativity, and trust.

Professional experience in the future of governance

Outside of my local service, I work in tech, specifically in artificial intelligence policy and governance, helping leaders understand how emerging technology affects real people, real institutions, and real communities.

This work has taken me into conversations with founders, policymakers, and civic leaders across the nation. It has taught me how systems succeed, how they fail, and how transparency and accountability make the difference between the two.

Whether I'm teaching improv at the theatre or advising policymakers on AI governance, the questions are the same: Who gets to participate? Who benefits? Whose voices shape the outcome?

That experience shapes how I approach city leadership: Clear information. Thoughtful planning. Public trust earned through action.

The kind of leadership I believe in

Leadership is not about control.
It is about care, clarity, and responsibility to the people you serve.

I believe in showing up. Listening closely. Explaining decisions honestly.
And doing the steady work that helps a community move forward together.

New Port Richey has given my family belonging, friendship, and purpose.
Serving as mayor would be my way of giving that back.
